Painting for me is an unexplained desire, constant discovery, looking and searching for something. When I started painting, I felt transported into a kind of paradise.

Starting to paint, I felt gloriously free, quiet and alone. Painting (is) was an escape from distraction. I had found my true path.

There was something frightening in feeling so certain and knowing that there was no turning back.
