An exhibition of the New York School is currently running until October 22, 2001, at the Norton Simon Museum in Los Angeles. On view in "The Chromatic Eye: New York Paintings and Prints from the 1960s" will be 45 works by four artists who knew and influenced one another: Helen Frankenthaler, Ellsworth Kelly, Kenneth Noland, and Frank Stella.
